The Academy The Academy statement on health problems presented by Vietnamese orphans was admittedly directed to the urgent physical health problems presented by these children at a time when the country was ill prepared to predict the number arriving or the health services that they would require. I am sure the Task Force charged with responding to this immediate need would support Dr. Brazelton's concern for the psychological and developmental problems these children and their families will face as they attempt to acclimate themselves to life in the United States.
