Pesticides have been developed to kill living organisms. Insecticides in particular are likely to cause problems. Treatment can be very effective, but as with all poisons, prevention is far more efficient. Every family should be cautioned to minimize the availability of pesticides in the home and when needed to keep them in their original containers and in a place secured from inquisitive children.
