I am greatly honored by your publication of my Blackfan Lecture at Harvard on "Health Services in the Home."1

I also appreciate the notice given to the article by the commentary from Dr. David Nathan.2

Dr. Nathan is certainly entitled to interpret my feelings ("Be off" she states "with your ultrascience") and I am grateful to him for his interpretation. I was rather ashamed of my own moderation. But this was not what I stated.
