Febrile Convulsions: A Reappraisal, by Margaret A. Lennox-Buchtal, M.D. (Supplement No. 32 to Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology). Amsterdam/London/New York: Elsevier Publishing Company, 1973, 138 pp., $17.25

Carrying on in the exemplary Lennox tradition, Dr. Margaret Lennox-Buchtal has written a very carefully researched and annotated review of our current knowledge regarding febrile convulsions. She has meticulously assessed both the clinical and animal studies that cover data pertaining to this common pediatric emergency. This reviewer strongly recommends to the readers of Pediatrics that, if time allows nothing more, they read the succinct summary on pages 113 to 115 to get the authors' key practical points.
