Visceral Neurofibromatosis and Hypertension in Childhood

Neurofibromatosis is a rare cause of hypertension, particularly in children. Our hypertensive patient was shown to have gross alteration in both renal arteries and a complete block of the superior mesenteric artery. By-pass arterial graft of the right renal artery restored his blood pressure to normal levels.
