Pediatric Orthopedics is aimed primarily at the orthopedic surgeon with operative procedures shown in detail.

Mihran Tachdjian, the author, and W. B. Saunders, the publisher, have collaborated to produce a superbly illustrated and designed text. The illustrations, a combination of the contribution of the photographic and the medical illustrator, are great examples of the work of both fields. The two volumes are memorable achievements in the illustrative fields. The hand, orthotics, and prosthetics in children are omitted.
