Prodromal Arrhythmias Preceding the Onset of Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia in a Newborn

A case of PST in a newborn is presented which was immediately preceded by apparent prodromal arrhythmias. The infant had a fracture of the right clavicle and was delivered by mid-forceps. The importance of electrocardiographic monitoring of rhythm disturbances is emphasized.
