1 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
This book is the second volume of a two-volume set, the first devoted to the lower respiratory tract and this to pediatric otolaryngology. The volume is designed to have a broad appeal rather than be a definitive text on pediatric otolaryngology.
Each section of the book, which is divided anatomically, begins with an appropriate and concise description of the embryology and anatomy of the region. Most of the sections have a description of the methods of examination which is of value to the pediatrician who may not be familiar with special methods and for the otolaryngologist who may not see many children.
