One More Danger from Toys

Recently, in the press, there has been some publicity with regard to the various dangers found in toys. Several weeks ago, we had an incident on one of our pediatric wards which we thought could be informative to other physicians, nurses, and interested personnel.

An 11-month-old female infant was admitted to our pediatric ward due to a convulsive disorder and bronchitis. After 11 days of hospitalization, she was doing well and was about to be discharged.
