Letters to the Editor

Sumner J. Yaffe M.D.1

1 Committee on Drugs

The Committee on Drugs has reviewed Dr. Freeman's letter. Dr. Freeman is of course entitled to his views and the Committee welcomes this opportunity for him to make these public. The Committee would like to reiterate its view that such therapy must be based on objective, scientifically valid data rather than upon hearsay, belief, or other forms of unsubstantiated opinion.
