Carl C. Fischer M.D.

We asked Dr. Carl Fischer, as the most appropriate representative of the Academy, to comment. He did so, as follows:

On reading Doctor Schulman's letter of October 13, 1970, I note that his concerns are the same as those felt by the Executive Board when it directed the Council on Pediatric Practice to make a 2-year study of the status of the delivery of health care to children and prepare a report with the best possible recommendations for the future.
