Oxygen Tension Measurements on Digital Blood in the Newborn

In a series of 36 babies, most of them ill at the time, arterial oxygen tension was compared with the oxygen tension of blood obtained by pricking the finger in the arteriolar bed of the digital artery. Agreement between the measurements was generally close.
