Letter To The Editor

Joseph B. Seagle M.D.1

I started asking my associate Dr. Hugh C. Thompson 2 or 3 years ago when the members of the Academy might expect an up-to-date combined index to supplement the one that was put out many years ago for Vol. 1 through 20 of Pediatrics (1948 to 1957).

It would be a tremendous help to those of us in practice if the last 13 years could be added to a combined index so that when we want to look up references for a complicated or difficult case, we could do it without going through every 6-month index over all of these years.
