New Cover

I have had the January 1970 issue of Pediatrics on my desk for some days now, and the more I look at it the more dismayed I am at the new cover. It seems to me singularly unattractive and dull, to put it mildly. The green ink, the reduced size of the print, the excessively black title and sub-title, all jar on the senses. I find that my reaction is not unique—in fact it seems to be general among those who have seen the January issue.
