Child Health and Community Health Centers in the Americas

Those of us interested in the health (health in its widest sense) of the masses, especially those masses which are underprivileged, are delighted with the appearance of more and more articles in medical journals related to this subject.

However, it pains me to see the Committee on International Child Health1 propose and recommend more studies in order to delineate the most effective elements of community comprehensive child care. It seems we keep doing studies and then either never apply what was found or recommend further study of the study.
