Sir Robert Hutchison, A Corrected Attribution

In his Presidential Address, Dr. George Logan (Pediatrics, 43:125, 1969) quoted a "bit of free verse, a sort of prayer," he had found on the wall of a ward office of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and he mentioned that it is attributed by some to the surgeon, Sir Jonathan Hutchinson.

It was, in fact, written by a pediatrician, Sir Robert Hutchison (without an "n"), who, in a letter entitled "Modern Treatment" ( Brit. Med. J., 1:671, 1953) wrote:
