Ben H. Nicholson

Harris D. Riley Jr. M.D.1

1 Children's Memorial Hospital University of Oklahoma Medical Center Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The death of Ben H. Nicholson at age 64 on September 25, 1968, from a myocardial infarction removed from pediatrics a remarkable person. Few have made a greater contribution to the welfare of children or to medical education in this region.

Dr. Nicholson, an outstanding practicing pediatrician in Oklahoma City since 1931, was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He received his internship and residency training in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
