THE UNKNOWN REVIEWER, 1968

Authors of the 595 manuscripts reviewed in this office in 1968 are all too familiar with "Reviewers A," "B," and-sometimes-"C" and "D," whose critical comments largely decided which were the 240 papers printed. For this essential service we turned to the following list of unnamed experts, and always to the Editorial Board, last year. We remain in astonished gratitude for so much help so freely given.
