Chicago

Benj. K. Silverman M.D.1

1 66 Mt. Lucas Road, Princeton, New Jersey

This letter went off today to the Executive Offices of the American Academy of Pediatrics:

"I have written in the past of my opposition to the repeated placing of the Annual Meetings in the depressing atmosphere of the Chicago Loop.

"My feelings are not greatly reinforced by the sordid television pictures of Mayor Daley's vicious handling of American youth at the Democratic convention.

"As pediatricians, we, first of all groups, should take steps to transfer our meetings from Chicago.
