Doctors Niedermeyer and Richardson comment as follows:
Some of us would agree with Dr. Copple that there are limitations as to the information obtained from the electroencephalogram. However, perhaps Dr. Copple's remarks reflect her subjective and impressionistic view concerning the clinical value of electroencephalography in general.
No attempt should be made to convert Dr. Copple into a "believer in brain waves." Electroencephalographers should be painfully aware of technical limitations and gladly abstain from missionary zeal.
