THE SURGICAL CORRECTION OF MINOR HYPOSPADIAS WITH CHORDEE

Reed M. Nesbit M.D.1

1 Davis, California

Some children with balanitic (first degree) hypospadias need surgical corrections to assure normal sexual function; many, however, do not need an operation. The author discusses how to distinguish between the two groups of cases. He also describes a new, safe, and simple operation for correcting the abnormality, when indicated–the "check-vein" procedure.
