Little Wide-Awake: An Anthology of Victorian Children's Books and Periodicals, selected by Leonard de Vries. Cleveland and New York: The World Publishing Company, 1967, 240 pp., $8.95

Rosenbach, one of America's greatest bibliophiles, and himself an avid collector of children's books, wrote: "Children's books have such a many-sided appeal that they are strangely satisfying to the collector.
