Pediatric Nursing, by Helen C. Latham, R.N., M.S., and Robert V. Heckel, Ph.D. St. Louis: The C. V. Mosby Company, 1967, 516 pp., $7.85

The authors of this nursing textbook write in a clear, concise style presenting their material well. The student will find this an easy book to use, either as a general text on pediatric nunsing, or for reference purposes. Large topic headings on the two-columned pages are somewhat distracting but make locating an area for rereading simpler. Ample illustrations are used to demonstrate points in the text, and examples of charting methods for clinical observations should prove helpful to readers.
