Infectious Mononucleosis with Thrombocytopenic Purpura

A patient with infectious mononucleosis who presented with a purpuric rash is reported. Although extremely rare, infectious mononucleosis must be added to the differential diagnosis of a febrile child who presents with a purpuric rash.
