SUBDURAL HEMATOMA OF THE POSTERIOR FOSSA: REPORT OF A CASE

A case of a newborn infant with a subdural hematoma of the posterior fossa is presented. The clinical course, diagnosis, treatment, and results of limited follow-up are given. A survey of the literature with respect to this lesion as well as a brief discussion of the incidence, mechanism of development, clinical manifestation, treatment, and prognosis is included.
