Fundamentals of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Its Complications

This volume of 470 pages was produced under the auspices of the American College of Chest Physicians and edited by Edward W. Hayes, M.D. Its 26 chapters are separate treatises on the various aspects of tuberculosis. These treatises are well integrated and simply and clearly written. The authors do not presuppose a knowledge of tuberculosis on the readers' part. This volume "points the way to the control and the eventual eradication of tuberculosis" and is primarily directed toward the medical student and practitioner.
