NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

The gift of a $10,000 Subsidiary Scholarship to the Chicago Medical School in memory of the late Dr. I. Harrison Tumpeer is announced by Dr. John J. Sheinin, dean of the school.

For a period of two years, Dr. Tumpeer was an associate of Dr. Isaac A. Abt, and then was appointed to the staff of Michael Reese Hospital and the Post Graduate Medical Staff and Hospital. Of the latter, he became Professor and head of the Pediatric Department.
