This book follows the trend now apparent in having each chapter written by a different author. The multiplicity of authors and diversity of subjects make it a difficult book to review and evaluate. The work covers a broader field of approach to the subject than any yet seen by the reviewer. All of the chapters, excepting three, cover their subject matter well and are written in clear, concise, understandable language. The titles range from "The Physiology of Emotion" and "Electrophysiology in Psychiatry" through "Psychotherapy" to sociologic studies, such as "Character Formation in Relation to Education" and "Marriage and Family Life."
