I wrote "...rights of parents ... are in no way abrogated when they place reliance in the judgement of the `physician-friend' to make all medical decisions...." Mr. Hershey apparently (and, if so, mistakenly) took this to mean suspension of the normal dialogue between personal physician and parents. He must surely understand that in making every day medical decisions, physicians are fully aware of the need for full discussions with parents when any unusual procedure is contemplated for a child.
