An Opportunity to Help in Vietnam

CHARLES E. MACRAW M.D.1

1 Chairman, Sub-committee on Recruitment, 111 Hobart Road Newton, Massachusetts 02059, (617) 969-4489

I would like to call the attention of your readers to the formation of the Committee of Responsibility, a national, non-profit, humanitarian group organized to provide proper medical care in the United States to war-burned and war-injured Vietnamese children. Among the honorary chairmen are Dr. Albert Sabin, Dr. Benjamin Spock, and Dr. Helen Taussig. A program of this type is necessary because of the deplorable medical conditions in Vietnam, particularly the lack of long-term, rehabilitative treatment for burned and injured youngsters.
