This monograph on constitutional diseases of bone is based on a series of lectures given under the auspices of the College of Medicine of the Hospitals of Paris at the Hôpital Bretonneau. This monograph of approximately 100 pages of text and numerous excellent illustrations is written in French, but at the end of each chapter there is a brief résumé in English.

The first chapter is a short but excellent summary on the structure and physiology of bone.
