A 3frac12-year-old child with benign lymphoid polyposis of the colon is reported with a brief review of the literature. The similarity of the lesion to benign lymphoid hyperplasia of the rectum and other organs is pointed out. The difficulty of differential diagnosis is alluded to and the desirability of conservative handling is suggested.
