Letters to the Editor

ISABEL P. ROBINAULT PH.D.1

1 Coordinator of Professional Activities

Thank you for bringing to the attention of the editor of Pediatrics that 47 states now protect children from being battered. Although my letter which quoted 20 states was published in July, it had been written in December 1965. At that time, the excellent statement of February 1966, had not been published yet by Pediatrics.

Your vigilance is most appreciated since it is only by combined effort that sustained change will take place for the benefit of all children.
