NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Annual Fall Meeting of the Northwestern Pediatric Society will be held on Friday, September 23, 1966, at the White Pine Inn, Bayport, Minnesota, Eldon Berglund, M.D., President.

Cardiovascular Emergencies: A seminar is to be presented by the American College of Cardiology and the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, Florida, September 22-24, 1966. This program is devoted to such topics as shock, acute hypertension, acute myocardial infarct, cardiac arrest, cardiac arrhythmias, etc. Guest faculty will include: Jack H. Bloch, M.D., Ray W. Gifford, Jr., M.D., Henry J.L. Marriot, M.D., Robert A. Miller, M.D., and Andrew G. Wallace, M.D. Fees: $ 75.00 non-members; $60.00 members.
