An advertisement in the November, 1965, Pediatrics (page cix) advertises "The First and Only Pediatric Cold Tablet Recommended Even for Three Year OldsmNew Congespirin." This product has been extensively advertised on television. In addition, it has been distributed through the mails and sample packets containing tablets distributed in residential areas so that one 3-year-old collected for his mother, but fortunately did not ingest, some 20 packages containing 80 tablets.
I wish to protest not only this method of advertising, which is a potential source of accidental ingestion, but also the product itself.
