MALE PSEUDOHERMAPHRODITISM WITH FEMALE CHROMOSOMAL CONSTITUTION

An infant with ambiguous genitalia was found to have infantile testicles bilaterally with no ovarian tissue. The sex chromatin pattern was positive, however, and chromosomal analysis of leukocytes, skin, and gonad revealed a normal female karyotype with no evidence of the presence of a Y chromosome.
