Your Allergic Child, Herman Hirshfeld. New York: ARC Books, 1964, 142 pp., $1.45

Harry Louis Mueller M.D.

The author covers the field of clinical allergy with a good introduction in the first two chapters to the general problems of the allergic child and then takes up specific allergic diseases under appropriate chapter headings. Throughout the book, there is an underlying theme that each patient differs, that there are no "pat" answers, and that the parent should consult his physician for the final analysis. No fads or fancies are plugged and the general tone is conservative.
