CORRECTION

In the article "Diagnosis and Treatment: Acute Renal Failure" by Malcolm A. Holliday (Pediatrics 35: 478, 1965), the footnote on page 479 should read:

(See also a correction in Pediatrics, 35:966, 1965).

Fifty ml of 3.75 grams of sodium bicarbonate added to 500 ml of 0.45% saline in 5% G/W will provide a concentration of sodium of 150 mEq/l and a concentration of chloride of 70 mEq/l.
