Asian Pediatrics: The Scientific Proceedings of the First All-Asian Congress of Pediatrics, New Delhi, 1961

This is a book of historic importance because it records the scientific proceedings of the First All-Asian Congress of Pediatrics held in January, 1961, in New Delhi. Delegates from twenty-three countries heard nearly one hundred and fifty original papers on a wide range of child health and care. Ninety of these papers are published in this book, although a few are in the form of a short abstract.

The participants covered the broad areas of pediatrics which are of particular interest to those involved in child care in Afro-Asia.
