Medical Embryology. Human Development—Normal and Abnormal

JOSEF WARKANY

This concise volume was written for medical students giving in broad outlines a description of human prenatal development. A general part deals with gameto-genesis, fertilization, and embryonic and fetal stages. One chapter of 18 pages deals with congenital malformations and their causes. The special part describes the development of the various organ systems. Each chapter ends with a list of selected references. The text is illustrated entirely by good schematic drawings.
