Mentally Retarded Children and Their Education

JAMES D. CLEMENTS M.D.

The author clearly and justifiably states his intent to clarify in the minds of parents, teachers, and administrators the difference between Mental Health, Mental Illness, and Mental Retardation. He suggests that the book might be of value as a text in college classes for teachers. He has listed methods, materials, and supplies that, in his opinion, are good for teaching the mentally retarded.

This book adequately discusses the definitions and differences in Mental Health, Mental Illness, and Mental Retardation from the layman's view.
