Common Bullous Lesions—Presumably Self-Inflicted—Occurring in Utero in the Newborn Infant

A relatively common bullous lesion of the skin of the newborn infant has been described. It is presumed that these lesions are self-inflicted in utero as a consequence of vigorous sucking reflex in otherwise normal newborns.
