Bernard E. Cohen M.B., Ch.B., M.R.C.P.E., D.C.H., D.P.H.1, Arieh Szeinberg Ph.D.1, Hayim Boichis M.D.1, and Eva Bodonyi Ph.D.1

1 Government Hospital, Tel Hashomer, Israel

Details are given of four phenylketonuric patients of Yemenite Jewish background. With one exception, their clinical and biochemical findings were identical to findings in phenylketonuric patients of other nationalities. None of the children was blond or blue-eyed, and there was only minor dilution of pigment of hair, skin, and iris.
