Neonatal Death from Congestive Heart Failure Associated with Large Cutaneous Cavernous Hemangioma

A newborn infant with a large cutaneous cavernous hemangioma who died from congestive heart failure in the first day of life has been described. A plea is made for careful observation of the hemodynamic status of newborn infants with similar lesions.
