I have read with interest the brochure on Mental Disorders, A Guide to Control Methods, published by the American Public Health Association, Inc. This book is prepared from the pragmatic point of view, both in relation to the care of people already afflicted with various types of mental disturbance and to attempts at prophylaxis of mental disturbances. There is, finally, a thoroughgoing summary of project organization through which one might make useful inquiries into causes of mental defects.
