Family Medical Care: A Report on The Family Health Maintenance Demonstration

MARC VINCENT M.D.

Dr. Silver has condensed in a book rich with facts amid details the origins, developments and results of this "Family Health Demonstration." The demonstration was set up in an attempt to find a way of giving to the patient the personal attention that he expects to receive from an individual practitioner and the higher level of technical excellence that might be possible in group practice.

The author outlines the main characteristics of the present day life of the urban American family and shows what can be the role of the physician in regard to these facts.
