Biography of the Unborn

This is an unusual book but quite a good one. The author's background and educational experience are not described, and it is apparent only in rather fine print that the work was originally published 25 years ago by Williams and Wilkins. Still, the facts of embryology for the layman have changed little if at all since 1938, and the need for a simple account of them has perhaps increased with the increase of population.
