Radiography of Infants and Children

FREDERIC N. SILVERMAN M.D.

A volume on methodology in any field properly includes a description of the equipment used, explanation for the selection of the equipment and accessories, appropriate precautions in their use, adequate illustrations of their use, and examples of the results to be obtained. Dr. Darling's volume covers this sequence admirably. The actual photographs of patients in the various positions described helps immeasurably in placing a child in the proper position to obtain a desired film. The format, which relates the films obtained to the "clinical photographs" makes for ease in utilization of the volume.
