Six cases of neuroblastoma and one of ganglioneuroma were studied with respect to excretion of dopamine and dopac (3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid) in the urine. The quantities of these compounds were found to reflect the clinical status of the patient. In general, they were low during remission and increased just before and during relapse. In the urine of one patient, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine was identified.
