Tumors of the Eye and Adnexa in Infancy and Childhood

DAVID G. COGAN M.D.

Three books have appeared in the past few years bearing "tumors of the eye and adnexa" in their titles. The other two—one written by A. Reese and the other edited by L. Zimmerman—have been comprehensive texts emphasizing pathology. By contrast the present book by Iliff and Ossofsky is limited to tumors of childhood and has a strong clinical orientation. It represents the combined efforts of an ophthalmologist and pediatrician who have had extensive experience in radiology, surgery, and case material. The book is well organized, abundantly illustrated, and smoothly readable. It is one of the few contemporary books which can be read through in one sitting or shelved for intermittent reference reading.
